Music therapy can be particularly helpful when emotions are too confusing to express verbally.  This could be because of communication difficulty or when words are too much or not enough.

Music therapy is a psychological therapy that aims to facilitate positive changes in emotional wellbeing and communication through the engagement in live musical interaction between client and therapist.

here are plenty of conditions that can be turned to music for more effective or additional approach. For most of us, music is part of our daily lives. Just like when we're on a very bad mood after a very long day. Turning on your stereo and listening to a classical music can calm us down and relax us even more. When we are doing around the house like cooking or cleaning the house, we choose to listen to music as well to keep us more lively and energetic perhaps. Different genre have different neurological effect.

Nowadays, music is use as therapy in different cases and people like in autism, palliative care, bereavement, seniors, children, burn units and many more. Musical therapists are not only aware of devices and tools . They are well-trained to use music in order to provide beneficial effect to particular individual.

Same here. I also listen to different genres of music depending on the circumstances and mood. Driving at night or morning I usually listen to country or jazz. Driving in a heavy traffic jam I find classical music to be soothing. I go to sleep with classical instrumental music in the background. I also enjoy alternative, rock and metal once in a while. I listen to different genre of songs- electronic, jazz, raps, capella, classical music, rock. I switch between very often. When I am down, I like Jazz.
