At least an hour of moderate exercise is enough to reverse the negative health impacts of sitting for extended periods of time, scientists report. From their survey, they also found that around 75 percent of people fail to reach this goal. They published their findings in The Lancet.

Previous recommendation for cardiovascular health encourage 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise a week. Now the ante has been up if you want good overall health including bone etc. A total of 60 minutes a day. Especially for people who sits more than 8 hours a day.
