It is a very serious situation when a hospital loses control over infection control. Catastrophes like this may cost so much loss and suffering that may be beyond fixation. When 12 patients of a hospital like SGH get infected with the hepatitis C virus from inside the hospital, it definitely affects the reputation of the health service in a negative way that might take long time to compensate.
