Disgusting! This is the kind of stuff that is the reason why medical lawsuits became prominent. I could not see any reason why the doctor would use his own sperm to induce fertility. There is clearly a psychiatric condition involved with this malpractice. I feel bad for the patients who became victims of this heinous act. They thought that insemination specimens were obtained from random donors but were hoodwinked by a doctor with lewd intentions. This has breached every confidence that these wo...

The act of deceit feeding to the hopeless desperate mothers is such a crime and compromisig doctors medical practice and credibility. Though the doctors intention here is to help but you've just created another problem here. Imagine if that person wasn't that curious enough regarding the DNA of her baby, what could have possibly happen? It remains to be a secret until told. This is a sad scenario which will continue to haunt the mother, baby and most especially the doctor (if he has the ...

It is very sad to here such stories from developed countries like United States. He doctor who have done this can say that he did that for the benefit of the mothers. But here what we have to consider is the ethical background of the issue. First of all the doctor has lied to those ladies and insemination was done not in the way the patients were instructed. This is completely unacceptable because as a doctor, he has to keep the doctor-patient relationship in a standared way the world has been a...

Unfortunately there is not enough optimism for something like this because it does not justify using his own sperm. If his intentions of giving these women, who desperately wanted to become mothers, children then he could have just told them that he was using his own as he apparently believes his sperm to be that viable. This really something for Jerry Springer. ...

I actually learned about this news somewhere else and reading about it all over again made me cringe all the same. While the intentions of the old reproductive specialist may be good, it is still unethical to manipulate this patients that way. I'm just curious if the children and mothers were made aware of what their doctor did. Fortunately this is not common in the Philippines, and most of the fertility specialists here are women. Sperm donors are also a rarity here and as far as I know, th...
