Singapore has been preparing for their ageing population, and rolled out the Pioneer Generation Package a few years ago to ensure that elderly Singaporeans will be able to afford vital healthcare in their old age.

Malaysia also needs to be prepared for this, and its can be even more difficult considering the number of rural areas in Malaysia compared to Singapore. An ageing population is characteristic of developed countries, and it is important that the elderly are being taken care of...
