Isn't two always better than one! Well there are instances that statement may not be valid, but in this case of detection of cervical cancer it is definitely true. Pap smear itself is a fairly accurate to detect cervical cancer early. In my country, a pap smear is routinely done for women after the age of 35 and then 5 yearly and there is a high chance of early detection of cervical cancer.
