This is a good topic to discuss because there are no right or wrong answers. Personally, I prefer to forgo attending patient's funerals. This is congruent to my decision to keep my patient-doctor relationship within the vicinity of the hospital. I think that its better to separate my professional life and private life. Its not that I do not mourn for my deceased patients. Of course, I do. But I believed that caring for the patient is enough to express that we respect and value his life. In m...
