Yes. When I was building my practice, I had to think as if I were a patient, and asked myself "What would a patient want to see in a clinic". The overall appearance is a n obvious concern. These are all great ideas to have in a doctor's clinic. Of course, one of the main things is that you (the doctor) should be comfortable in it as well, especially if its where you spend most of the day. I giggled a bit at the part on having a picture with your family or friends, as it “may help to humanise you.” Haha, so do patients think that doctors aren’t human anymore? :D Having candy or chocolates would be great for patients too, though I think it would add to the expense as these disap...

Definitely a doctor's clinic should look presentable and welcoming for patients. I agree with most items in the article, except for a few. I would probably not opt to place a plant within my clinic, unless it is a bonsai. I would rather opt for an aquarium to make the place look more environmental friendly. That is really a fabulous article that is helpful for doctors to improve the patient-doctor experience during hospital visit or regular check up. I have seen tissues and candies in the room of a child specialist that I visit quite often for my kid’s regular check up. Candies are helpful in focusing the kids toward doctor as they listen the doctor’s advice with concentration and obey him.
