Not only for gonorrhea and STDs, drug resistance is now a great problem in treating other bacterial diseases too. Due to irrational use of antibiotics, many safe and effective drugs have lost efficacy. It is high time, we need newer drugs to be discovered. The discovery of this newer group of antibiotic is really a pleasure. We hope it will be proved as safe and effective in further trials too.
