It is without doubt that being on a raw food diet offers a multitude of health benefits especially for our cardiovacular health. However, just as any fad diet, it also carries along with it a variety of risks such as being prone to injest parasites, food poisoning, inadequate nutrition, etc. In addition to this, cooking makes the nutrients incorporated in food more available for the body to absorb.
