Alendronate 10 mg, a bisphosphonate (BP) drug used for osteoporosis and other bone diseases, is associated with atypical femoral fracture (AFF), according to a study presented at the 6th Asia-Pacific Osteoporosis Meeting (IOF Regionals 2016) in Singapore.
