Gestational diabetes may increase likelihood of attention problems in babies
Babies of mothers with gestational diabetes may have a higher chance of developing attention problems, suggests the Singaporean Gusto project.

Gestational diabetes, or diabetes that is diagnosed during pregnancy in a woman who previously did not have diabetes, occurs when the pancreas fails to produce enough insulin to regulate blood sugar efficiently.
