Scientists have discovered an antibody produced by an HIV-positive patient that neutralises 98 percent of all HIV strains tested - including most of the strains that are resistant to other antibodies of the same class.

That's true I agree with all of your comments. Acquired immune deficiency syndrome really has a very poor prognosis. It is not a disease that causes death by the disease itself. AIDS weakens the immune system so that people die from other life threatening infections. The cause for death of HIV patients can be many, but always acquired immune deficiency is the underlying cause.
