I could personally atest to this sad reality of the health care system. Not only does the ambulance arrive late in the Philippines but the traffic in the streets is absolutely horrible. No ambulance or vehicle can possibly pass through the streets with ease because of this problem. It is safe to say that hundreds of Filipinos lives are lost because of health care delays such as these. Sadly, there is no sense of urgency and care among the citizens of this country.
