It is just timely that Malaysian government has conducted an overall audit and assessment of their health services. This was not limited to assessment of hospital facilities, services, census, and incidence and prevalence results. It must be really disappointing for the Malaysian people to see that there is an outsated census for cancer patients. I don’t think so that data provided a decade ago about cancer patients is feasible for analysis about cancer patients today. The national cancer registry was updated in 2007 and now DAP's Klang MP Charles Santiago has urged the ministry of health to establish a National Cancer Blueprint and to update the cancer registry as a part of 2017 Budget.
