Clot retrieval is one of the latest game changers for the treatment of stroke. It is done through an endovascular approach, performed by endovascular neurosurgeons. This form of treatment is not yet available in a lot of areas due to a lack of expertise. In our country, very few people are fully trained to do the procedure.
