Nothing really novel about this article. But I think the important point that that is brought up is the importance of the type of vegetarian food chosen. The method of preparation is also very important. (e.g if its is fried, heavily sweetened, salted, then it should be considered good for children) I personally believe that it would be more difficult to have vegetarian food during the growing years of the child, this is because a more complex mix of proteins and other nutrients are needed.
