Rising Insulin Prices in the US

In the 1960s, insulin was only priced at 84 cents a vial, but overtime its prize has increased at an exponential rate. Some diabetic patients are living in fear of being unable to afford the costlier versions of the drug. Companies on the other hand, charge older drugs at a expensive rate, and plan to churn out new versions at an even more costly rate with promises of higher benefits.
