A young gentlmen, with no previous medical or surgical history, smoker with 5 pack years, was admiited to hospital due to worsening of right sided abdominal pain for the past 5 days, with some intermitent fever. Patient was apyrexia on arrival. On exmaination of his abdomen, there was some tenderness around right sided of abdominal, but no rebound tenderness, no rigidity. His white cell count and CRP were elevated. CT-ABD showed an inflammatory phegmon, likely involving, caecum and terminal ileum. What is your different diagnosis, and what will be your treatment plan ?
