While medical science has seen rapid advancement, the art of dealing with death has not. This is understandable, as death is an uncomfortable topic for people to discuss. But considering the nature of the medical profession, NOT discussing death is clearly not the way to go.

I guess death is really a taboo for each and everyone, any race, age and culture. Nobody wants to talk about death especially with your family members. It is very hard for doctors to talk and appraise the folks and relatives of the patient who is about to depart. Yes there is really a misconception that having death as the end part means failure in their part. But then again, pain and death is innevitable. Even for nurses, seeing your patient that you have cared for dying is heart breaking. Life...
