Unfortunately, there are no post-operative pictures in the article that would give us a clear idea if there is a co-existent craniosynostosis (premature fusion of cranial bones). From available picture, the child seems to have a condition called, klebbatschadel (cloverleaf skull), which could be the reason why neurosurgeons have to perform cranioplasty. For hydrocepha...
