I am happy to read about this promising treatment for sickle cell disease. This illness is very rare in our region, and in fact I have never encountered a patient who has this condition. However, I have read that this is very common in Western regions. Patients with this illness also suffer from ischemic limb pain, which tends to occur frequently. This is very limiting for a lot of patients because the ischemic limb pain is very severe that it warrants frequent medical consults. I am hoping that...
