Do you routinely perform fracture/osteoporosis risk assessment among your patients. I recently encountered a tool that is helpful in determining the probability of developing a major osteoporotic fracture of a span of 10 years. It is called FRAX tool and it is widely used in British and American Settings. A calculator is also available online with corresponding recommendations. I'd like to inquire from other doctors if they routinely assess osteoporosis related fracture risk, and which age group.
