I think its great that there are new drugs available for lowering cholesterol, however, if the benefit they offer is almost similar to existing drugs at a more expensive price, patients have to really decide if they are worth it. Also, data on these drugs' safety should also be presented to patients who are considering to use the drug for treatment.
