Communication between doctors

The world has become a borderless place as far as immigration of skilled workers is concerned.  This holds true especially for the medical community where we see health professionals of all categories migrating to different countries and getting amalgamated with the health care systems at their respective locations. Slowly the health care practices, technical knowhow and clinical expertise available in various countries will come at one single level of excellence. This may be true for most of the developed countries in the world, but gaps may still exist in developing countries especially at remote locations where establishment of health care delivery systems is a difficult proposition. However, Internet and communication technology will reach these destinations at a much faster pace. Hence it will be important for health care professionals and especially doctors  in different countries to converse on a common platform and cooperate with each other for providing the best possible care for the patient.

I am definitely looking forward to the day when all countries would come out at one single level of excellence. Skill wise and know-how we are all practically equal. This well proven when doctors who had their education in developed countries go of to work in a developed country and prove their prowess.
