I love to share my favourite photos and interesting cases. I have no idea why I get so many interesting cases coming to my clinic. I have this patient, a 26 year old Chinese guy with Fitzpatrick type 3-4 skin. He was diagnosed with epilepsy 6 months ago after a fit. As usual, he couldn't tell me the cause of his epilepsy. However he was started on  Levetiracetam ( Keppra ) for the last 6 moths. He decided to go to the beach one day but sat under the shade with both legs outstretched but only the media surfaces exposed to the sun. After 30 minutes, he developed severe sun burn and came to see me the next day. Attached is the photo of his legs. Besided the heavyly pigmented skin, there is slight skin edema. Is this just a sun burn ???
