What advice do you give your patients regarding VAPE? Is it a true alternative to smoking? Or are it's harmful effects the same?

I would say the true alternative to smoking is NOT smoking. Picking up another habit is not the solution. I briefly went over the article you shared and agree completely with number two that The Vapor Is Far Less Harmful Than Cigarette Smoke. We know the effects of cigarette smoking and all the chronic diseases it cause ranging from respiratory to cardiovascular disease. Perhaps the creators of vape started out with the intention of providing a healthier option for those who smoke cigarettes since it has a better filter, the nicotine can be removed.
