I am not against plastic surgery, to be honest. I believe that feeling good about yourself and feeling beautiful can also bring about wellness. What makes it dangerous is the society's expectation of beauty. Commercialism exploit beauty as having a pointed nose, fair complexion and rounder eyes. Which instills a certain impression that having a more Western face denotes beauty, and thus puts pressure especially to women to achieve that kind of beauty.
