Americans mainly use toilet paper when cleaning the anus after pooping. But that could be unsanitary and leave feces behind. Some experts suggest using bidets to clean the area instead of wiping.

I've always been of the opinion that steadily advancing humans will one day invent better toilet. that is toilet paper moistened with cleansing fluid. i'm surprised it isn't released already, but I'm sure it will be soon. In the mean time, some things we have to accept as part of human existence. the human race is evolving all the time, and it will be a clear sign when we "roll on" this improvement on toilet paper, which is sure to come.
