Veteran physicians are struggling to be computer literate, what's more, adapting to the latest digital technology. Nonetheless, should they be punished for that or should the level of computer literacy be re-assessed in providing good patient care?

This is my two cents on this topic. Yes, doctors do need to keep up with basic computer skills, especially for the younger generation; however, computer literacy should not be the basis for deciding on whether a doctor can continue practicing medicine. We must remember that the older doctors pass on invaluable clinical decision making, which includes off-label prescription, to the younger ones.
